Swimming in the Cèze

In summer, this is the most popular activity.

As the Cèze flows through rocks heated by the sun, the water is warmer than the Mediterranean.

The main swimming places are:

- "Le pont de Souillas" - Souillas bridge - 15 minutes drive towards Aujac. Very accessible, recommended for small children.

- "Le moulin du Roure" - Roure Mill - 30 minutes walk down, the path starts behind the church.

- "La tour d’Olivon" - Olivon tower - 20 minutes walk, starting from the hamlet of L’Esfiel.

- The "Guinguette du Grand Tournant" - Bar on the long bend - 15 minutes drive on the Bessèges road, very accessible, recommended for small children.
